‘Effective implementation on NAP reduces terrorism’
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said terrorist incidents have declined up to ninety percent in the country due to effective implementation of National Action Plan.
In an interview, Iqbal said the frustrated elements are trying to create anarchy in the country, adding the government, with support of the nation, will foil the nefarious designs of such elements.
He said rating agencies and other international institutions are acknowledging and appreciating the rapidly improving economic situation of the country.
To a question, Iqbal said the government is working on the FATA reforms and people of the area will be given their rights having by people of other parts of the country soon.
Addressing participants after inaugurating the newly established upgraded NADRA office in Narowal, he said that Pakistan, despite all hurdles, was rapidly moving ahead towards the goal of economic development and political stability.
He termed the development of infrastructure from Gilgit to Gwadar an important milestone in the history of the country.— Radio Pakistan
