WEB DESK: It is annoying to find out battery is about to die no matter where you are and what you are doing. Although it is always suggested to charge your phones before leaving house. However, there are many reasons for which a person may not have enough time to remember that.

When you allow your phone to plug into a lower energy USB port, your phone will swallow up power which is way to fast for the available port's capacity. And, your device may not be charged.

The damage isn't stopped here. When you charge your phone this way, it might drain your car's battery too. Moreover, the amount of damage depends on the type of phone and battery. But one thing is sure that charging phone with car's USB port may damage your car's battery. Also, this isn't a big issue for news cars with healthy batteries but for the older ones, it is suggested to avoid charging your phone through USB port.
