WEB DESK: Isn't it amazing if smartphones come with 'do not disturb' feature while driving? Well, to your surprise, this dream has been turned into a reality. 

In flagship smartphones, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL - google has introduced a "do not disturb" mode. It is fascinating to learn that this particular feature can automatically find out when a person/user is driving and the feature will activate.

According to reports, the function will take place by using device motion and Bluetooth to finalize when to active this mode.

In early September, Apple revealed that iPhone X - its anniversary edition introduced something similar to this mode. The feature available in iPhone X allows consumers to put sound of notifications, alerts and calls on silent mode while driving. Plus, user are able to schedule DND, they can enable certain phone calls as well.

In addition, Samsung unveiled a similar feature too. Earlier in 2017, an application called In-Traffic Reply was introduced. This app basically uses GPS sensor to detect when a user is driving, on its own. Plus, the company has S-Bike feature for its low-end smartphones with the same purpose.
