Keep noticing changes regarding your skin. If you found an unusual pimple, sore or any other blemish that is taking too long to heal. You need to visit to dermatologist and don't try to cure it at home. It might not just be a pimple. According to Dr. Jeremy Brauer, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor, Ronald O. Perelman, Department of Dermatology,"That's the common tale that often leads to a skin cancer diagnosis." Memorize ABCDE's of melanoma and don't ignore such symptoms. Plus, it is suggested to get yourself checked.

Never use too much soap

Washing your face with suitable face washes is right but don't use it too much. People usually wash their face twice or even thrice times to get rid of extra oil but it is not healthy. As Dr. Brauer says,"When we strip down the natural components of this barrier, which we can do using too much soap and of course aggressively scrubbing, you increase the risk of infections and skin disease and flares in general."
Never stick sharp objects into your skin

Pimples are annoying and don't look attractive at all but it is still better to cure it by skin friendly treatment even if it takes long time. Dr. Berson says,"Never stick needles into a blemish," adding,"It will only increase inflammation and the potential for pigmentation, infection, and scarring. So, rather than getting rid of it, it will only last longer and leave a scar."
Never DIY high-level treatments

The desire of flawless skin may encourage you to go a step further but it is always safe to avoid high level DIY treatments. Boca Raton dermatologist Jeffrey Fromowitz, MD says,"These are powerful products with significant risk if not done properly," adding, "trust your skin to an expert. Get your treatments with a board-certified dermatologist."
