ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani on Saturday said unity and harmony amongst all state institutions is imperative to face internal and external threats.

Addressing a two-day conference in Islamabad to commemorate the celebration of 70 Years of the Parliament, he said that democratic system is gradually strengthening day by day.

Raza Rabbani said any attempt to undermine constitution will cause irreparable loss to the country.

He once again underlined the need for intra-institutional dialogue among three state pillars including Parliament, Judiciary and Executive.

The Chairman Senate also lauded the great resilience of the nation for facing the menace of terrorism boldly.

He urged the youth to realize their responsibilities and play active role in national development.— Radio Pakistan
