JIT has become controversial, says Fazl
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Saturday that the Joint Investigation Team has become controversial.
The JUI-F chief is currently on a two-day visit to Lahore, where he spoke to media. "We keep on listening to Imran's rant, don't see the need to comment on it," he said while referring to the PTI chief's statements. Fazl said that Imran Khan detaching from the PTI would be in the best interest of the party.
On the subject of Panama case, he said that the issue is in the Supreme Court and he cannot give a statement on it. The JUI-F chief said that he never played the part of a mediator between the government and army.
While responding to a question, Fazl said that the ruling party is contending that conspiracies are being hatched against it and it should reveal the name of those behind it.
