Khawar Qureshi, the lawyer representing Pakistan in Kulbhushan Jadhav case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), has said the ICJ will never order the release or acquittal of the Indian spy involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.

"Make it very clear that the Pakistani public understand, Commander Jadhav is not going anywhere. He is not going to be released or acquitted.

The ICJ will never release him or acquit him," he said while speaking to media after discussing the high-profile case with Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali and Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua in Islamabad. He also advised the media officials to "behave responsibly" and "give Pakistani officials the respect they deserve."

"The Foreign Office will be giving you a much more detailed press statement soon," Khawar Qureshi added. Earlier on Sunday, Attorney General for Pakistan Ashtar Ausaf said Pakistan would present all evidences before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).-NNI
