RAWALPINDI: The twitter post  of  29 April 2017 regarding Dawn leaks was not aimed at any government office or person,  said a statement issued by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Asif Ghafoor (DG- ISPR) on Wednesday, Aaj News reported. 

According the statement issued by military media wing, Pakistan Army is committed to work with the government to strengthen the democratic process and development in the country, adding that, that the tweet of 29th of last month was not aimed at any government office or person and the issue have since been settled after issuance of notification by Interior Ministry.

DG ISPR said Pakistan wants resolution of all the outstanding issues with Afghanistan, including border management.

He said that the exchange of firing with Afghan Security Force in Chaman last week was unfortunate incident and Pakistan had responded to the Afghan aggression in self-defence.

Rejecting New Delhi's blame of mutilating Indian soldiers' bodies by Pakistan Army troops, Gen Asif clearly stated Pakistan Army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier even Indian. He said Pakistan remains fully committed to maintain peace along the Line of Control and expect same gesture from the other side as well.

To a question, he said the issue of Kulbhushan Yadav is pending with the military court.

When asked about the Tehreek e Taliban (TTP) spokes person Ehsanullah Ehsan who recently surrendered to law enforcement agencies, Major Gen Asif Ghafoor assured that the issue of Spokesperson of TTP will dealt according to the law.
