TORONTO: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir ul Qadri on Monday was admitted to Toronto Hospital for medical examination after chest infection worsened, Aaj News reported. 

According to the reports, the party chief has been admitted to a private hospital in Toronto after his condition deteriorated as he was going through chest pain for last few days, he added.

The news was confirmed by the spokesperson PAT Noorullah Siddiqui. The party spokesperson further appealed the people to pray for recovery of the ailing leader.
