Pak-Afghan border at Torkham, Chaman to remain open for second day
PESHAWAR: Pakistan and Afghan border at Chaman and Torkham will remain open for second day, on Wednesday, Aaj News reported.Â
According to reports, due to continued terrorist attacks, the border was being closed for every activities. However, after 18 days, it is open again for two days.
The border will remain open till 10:00 p.m (today) and Afghan nationals with legal documents would be able to cross it within given time, reportedly.
Earlier, on news of reopening of border, thousands of people rushed to it, however, due to strict security and checking only three thousand were allowed to cross the border.
It is noteworthy here that Bab-e-Dosti, (Chaman) will be remained opened till 5:00 p.m. (today) as well.
