LAYYAH: At least six school children and a van driver were killed in Fatepur area of Layyah when the school van and truck collided today on Friday, Aaj News reported. 

According to rescue sources, the horrific accident claimed lives of six children, whereas nine other were injured. Their bodies have been shifted to nearby hospital.

The van of a private school was carrying 15 children, reportedly.

The low visibility on roads due to fog is the reason behind unfortunate accident, said sources.
