KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League Functional PML(F) MPA Nusrat Sahar Abbasi forgave Sindh Minister for works and services Imdad Pitafi over misogynistic remarks on Monday, Aaj News reported. 

According to reports, Sahar Abbasi announced in Sindh Assembly hall that "she is forgiving Imdad Pitafi after he put a traditional shawl on her head, calling her his sister".

The minister left his seat and reached to MPA's seat where he apologized over his remarks and put a traditional shawl on her head, reportedly.

Sources revealed that in response, Nusrat Sahar accept his apology, saying she had forgiven him for the sake of shawl and calling me his sister, adding that "the shawl is a symbol of forgiveness and other person accepts it, it is a tradition in Sindh".

Earlier, the MPA Nusrat Sahar Abbasi threatened while holding a bottle of petrol that she would burn herself if justice was not served within two days, reportedly.
