Do not look touristy

It is necessary to keep yourself safe while you are traveling as in new place or city you may have no idea about security measurements. Hence, it is good to avoid look like a tourist because they are the easiest target for criminals. Therefore, try to look like locals. Experts suggests,"It would be a lot more safer if a tourist leave his backpack at hotel and carry his essential stuff in shopping bag of a local store". It has been experienced that thieves mostly attack to bags or purses.

Be extremely careful while using ATM machines whether in or out side your hometown. A person should not use an ATM in a deserted area with suspicious people. Make sure to use ATM that has security camera pointing on ATM machine and which works actively. Most of time criminal prefers ATMs with cameras that are not working all the time.
