KARACHI: Funeral prayers of Governor of Sindh Justice retired Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqi offered today (Friday) in Karachi, Aaj News reported. 

As reported, the funeral prayers were offered at Governor house and late Governor was laid to rest in Ghizri graveyard after state funeral. The funeral prayers was led by prominent scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani.

Earlier, the security was strict in Governor house and nearby areas. President Mamnoon Hussain, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, other political personalities and people from every walk of life attended the funeral prayers, reportedly.

Late Governor served for two months. He was the 31st Governor of Sindh who took oath on 11th November 2016.
