ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday decided to conduct hearings of the Panamagate case on daily basis, Aaj News reported. 

The case was heard by a five-judge larger bench of Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.

The new bench also includes Justice Ejaz Afzal, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan.

The new bench decided that the court would not accept any further unnecessary adjournments in the case and hearing would be conducted on daily basis. Justice Khosa said, "We will not leave anything unattended."

He asked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyer Naeem Bukhari to plead the case in the court and not in the media.

PTI's lawyer Naeem Bokhari presented his arguments that they have no objection to the present bench. He added, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had misguided lawmakers in a speech regarding his assets delivered earlier this year in the National Assembly following the Panama Leaks.

Justice Azmat Saeed said if there is no objection to the bench then avoid giving statements through media. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said a new bench on Panama Papers has been constituted and it would examine all papers.

On Tuesday,  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan submitted more documents regarding the Panama Leaks case in the Supreme Court. The documents included letters exchanged in 2012 between Mossack Fonseca and Minerva Services over beneficial owners and an email record.
