'Imran should undergo medical examination to examine his mental health'
MULTAN: Veteran politician Javed Hashmi on Sunday said PTI Chairman Imran Khan should undergo medical examination in order to determine his mental health.
He also offered himself for such medical tests and called for constitution of a medical board for the purpose.
He was reacting to a statement of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief that Javed Hashmi was suffering from mental illness.
Talking to newsmen, Hashmi said he would be cleared after medical tests. But Imran would be declared 'mentally ill' and the nation would thus get rid of him, he added.
Hashmi claimed that PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi had told a party meeting that there had been no rigging in Punjab except a few incidents.
He recalled that once he questioned Jahangir Tareen about the third umpire the latter replied that since they had failed to manage a sizeable gathering of people, so the third umpire would not raise his finger.
