Imran blasts Nawaz over PIA jet demand
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Monday criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over asking a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) jet for his state visit to Bosnia.
The PTI Chairman, in his tweet, stated, "In true pretensions to 'badshahat fashion,' Nawaz Sharif demands PIA 777 for Bosnia trip, further debilitating PIA's commercial activities."
He added, "The plummeting of PIA's safety and credibility are reflective of how our corrupt rulers are reducing us to a Banana Republic." "Shocking the depths we have fallen to. PIA was amongst the top airlines of the world & now it is slaughtering goats for safety of its planes," Khan said.
In another tweet, Imran Khan lauded the efforts of Pakistani team for winning the Brisbane test match against Australia saying, "Great fight back by Pakistan in Brisbane led by gutsy Shafiq. There's no shame in losing when team fights to the last ball. They have made us proud." -NNI
