IG Sindh police sent on 'forced' leave
-File photoKARACHI: Sindh government sent IG Sindh police AD Khawaja on forced leave, Aaj News reported. Â
According to Aaj News, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has sent AD Khawaja on forced leave ordering to quit charge urgently.
The Chief Minister Sindh also ordered additional IG Karachi Mushtaq Mehar to hold temporary charge reportedly.
Sources further reveled that the federal government requested Sindh government regarding changes in IG Sindh's position.
The most senior police officer Sardar Abdul Majid Dasti and chairman anti corruption Ghulam Qadir Thebo are considered to replace IG Sindh however, additional IG Karachi Mushtaq Mehar is also considered for the post but he is junior among all candidates.
