RAWALPINDI: General Zubair Mahmood Hayat presumed command as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee on Monday, Aaj News reported.

As reported, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat became the 17th chairman of CJCSC. The graceful ceremony in his honor was held at GHQ Rawalpindi. Hayat was presented a guard of honor by a contingent of tri services.

The ceremony was attended by high level officers from three services reportedly.

Sources revealed that top military officers, diplomats, parliamentarians, ministers and others would participate in the ceremony.
