KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf inaugurated IDEAS 2016 on Tuesday, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, Prime Minister along with COAS Raheel Sharif and Defense Minister arrived at Expo Center where they attended the inaugural ceremony of ninth International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2016 which will be continued till 25th November.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah received Prime Minister, COAS Raheel Sharif and Defense Minister at Jinnah International.

As reported, The ninth International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2016 starts from today at Expo center. The theme of the exhibition is 'Arm for Peace' this year.

Sources revealed that ninety delegates from forty three countries are participating in the event. Twenty-one foreign and one hundred fifty seven national firms will showcase their products in the exhibition.

According to organizers, JF-Thunder, K8 Aircraft, Al-Khalid Tank, Fast Attack Craft Missile Boat and other defense products will be showcased in the exhibition.

The area of exhibition is cordoned off with the help of containers and the security will be monitored by Army personnel reportedly.
