Elected PM can't resign on demand of a political party, Ahsan
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says politics of agitation of PTI is a hurdle in the way of economic stability of the country.Â
In an interview, he said Pakistan is heading towards progress, prosperity through China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said the government had never stopped any political party but PTI had a plan to lockdown Islamabad which could not be allowed.
The minister said it is responsibility of the government to keep the capital city open and functional and the rule of law would be maintained.
Ahsan Iqbal said the Prime Minister, who is elected by the people of Pakistan, would not resign on demand of a political party that had been rejected by the masses through votes. -Radio PakistanÂ
