A bar member has approached the Lahore High Court against three MQM leaders Dr Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Khwaja Izharul for placing their names on Exit Control List (ECL).

Barrister Ali Gillani alleged in his petition that Dr Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Khwaja Izharul Hassan endorsed anti-Pakistan statements of their party's chief Altaf Hussain.

The lawyer said that the respondents are guilty of sedition by not openly disapproving the anti-state sentiments of their London based leader. He expressed apprehensions that the respondents may flee the country in wake of government's action against MQM.
