PESHAWAR: A woman teacher was killed and three school children were wounded when unknown miscreants attacked on a private school in Shabqadar area here on Wednesday, said police.

According to details, unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade on a private school in tehsil Shabqadar area of Charsadda district and as a result a woman teacher of the school was killed on the spot while three of the students also sustained injuries.

The injured children soon rushed to the district headquarter hospital for treatment.  Security forces has cordoned off the area and started search operation.
