ISLAMABAD: A heated debate on the issue of Kala Bagh Dam took place in the National Assembly, Aaj News reported.

According to Jamshed Dasti, who ever is agaisnt the construction of Kala Bagh Dam is a traitor. Aftab Sherpao stated in the meeting that there are three provinces who are aginst the construction of Kalabagh Dam. This meeting was held under the supervision of Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed.

According to independent National Assembly member Jamshed Dasti,there should be no political views involved in the issue of water. Members of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa should agree on the clause to construct Kalabagh Dam.

On the other hand, Ameer Haider said that we cannot accept the clause for the construction of Kalabagh Dam at any cost.
