KARACHI: On Friday, until mid-day, KSE-100 Index was at 27052.72 with a negative change of 11.62 and volume of 75,123,500 shares.

High and Low were 27097.10 and 26868.04 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 127,976,800 shares with 373 total traded companies out of which 195 were up, 165 were down and 13 were unchanged.

Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 28,729,100 shares. It was followed by Personal Goods (Textile) with a total traded volume of 20,412,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lafarge Pak. with a volume of 9,349,000 and price per share of 11.28 (0.19), Pak Elektron Ltd with a volume 5,790,500 of price per share of 20.42 (0.62), Maple Leaf Cement with a volume 3,332,000 of price per share of 29.65 (0.21).

The top three advancers were Island Textile with price per share 1423.87 (67.80), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 928.95 (42.35) and Murree Brewery share of 828.29 (39.44).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 3350.00 (-124.50), Indus Dyeing with price per share of 1138.03 (-59.89) and Siemens PakistanXD per share of 1410.00 (-28.14).
