KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 27037.29 with a negative change of 67.41 and volume of 140,213,940 shares.

High and Low were 27213.21 and 27016.00 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 221,393,860 shares with 388 total traded companies out of which 233 were up, 138 were down and 17 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 63,369,600 shares. It was followed by Construction and Materials (Cement) with a total traded volume of 24,452,300 shares.

The three top traded companies were Faysal Bank with a volume of 29,283,000 and price per share of 13.40 (1.00), P.I.A.C.(A) with a volume 13,839,000 of price per share of 9.99 (0.26), P.T.C.L.A with a volume 13,274,500 of price per share of 30.30 (0.91).

The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 3500.00 (146.63), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 5105.00 (144.00) and Island Textile of 1291.50 (61.50).

The top three decliners were Siemens PakistanXD with price per share of 1450.00 (-41.97), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 672.42 (-35.39) and National Foods per share of 638.01 (-22.60).
