LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Tuesday took notice of an acid attack on a 60-year-old wrestler. The cell directed District & Sessions Judge, Sialkot, to look into the matter and submit a detailed report on steps taken by the local police.

The complaint cell took notice of a police report which stated that Muhammad Hussain aka Nikka wrestler was at his outhouse in village Lalaywali near Pasrur where two persons threw acid on him.

Nikka received burn injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital where his condition was reported to be

critical.

Police have registered a case against unidentified accused.

However, the reason behind the incident could not be ascertained.
