KHANPUR: Local administration arranged burial of a woman found dead in a wilderness as the body remained unidentified despite postmortemand police efforts to find heirs of the deceased.

A woman's body bearing marks of torture was found in forest area near chak 143 of tehsil Liaqutpur on Monday.The body was sent to THQ Khanpur for postmortem.

However,the deceased remained unidentified and police handed over the body to Tehsil municipal administration Liaqutpur where women workers completed funeral requirements.

The woman,about 25 years of age,was buried in Abbasia graveyard of Chak 20 on Tuesday after funeral prayer.
