ISLAMABAD: The Met Office has predicted more dry and cold weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department predicted on Wednesday that the weather will remain dry and cold in most areas of the country, light rain showers could pour in Malakand, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan while snowfall is expected on hilly areas during next 24 hours.

The weather remained dry and chilly, rain showers poured in Malakand and few other places while snowfall covered hilly locations during last 24 hours, told the Meteorological Department.

The minimum temperature, minus 12 degree centigrade, was recorded in Parachinar while temperature of Gopus and Astore areas dropped to minus 7 centigrade on Tuesday, added the Meteorological Department.
