KARACHI: Inspector General of Police Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch here on Saturday visited the spot where SP CID Ch. Mohammed Aslam embraced martyrdom along with two colleagues on Thursday last.

He was accompanied by Additional I.G. CID Iqbal Mehmood, Additional I.G. Police Karachi Shahid Hayat, DIG Police South and East, DIG CID Zafar Abbas, SP CID Raja Umer Khatab and SP Investigation Niaz Khoso.

The provincial police chief issued directives against the culprits involved in the incident for their early arrest in the light of the statements of the eye witnesses, circumstantial evidences, and results of forensic investigation.

Speaking on the occasion he said the terrorists and criminal elements should be given message in stronger term through launching crack down that such cowardice acts cannot demoralize Sindh Police and shake their courage and commitment.

He further ordered to monitor all exit and entry points leading to the city to identify suspected elements in order to tighten noose around terrorists and their patrons.
