KARACHI: An alleged suicide bomber who detonated his explosive-laden vehicle to target SP CID Chauhdry Aslam has been identified.

The sources said that the bomber was identified as Naeemullah, 26, resident of Karachi’s Banaras Colony.

They further said that the suicide bomber belonged to country’s tribal area and one of his brothers were picked up by the CID over suspicion and released subsequently in the past.

They said that police had arrested two suspects during a raid at the attacker’s residence.
