ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Thursday said that the finance ministry would provide all possible support to Ministry of Defence Production to contribute towards national development.

"Ministry of Finance will provide all possible support to Ministry of Defense Production to ensure that such state institutions continue to make their contribution for the nation."

The Minister was talking to Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain during a meeting held here Thursday.

On the occasion, the Finance Minister was briefed about various issues pertaining to various establishments working under Ministry of the Defense Production Division.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Finance, Dr. Waqar Masood, Secretary Defense Production, Lt. Gen (R) Tanveer Taher, Chairman Pakistan Ordinance Factory (POF) Lt. M. Ahan Mahmood and senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and Defense Production.
