Three TTP terrorist counteracted by Cid Police in a shootout
KARACHI: Three people belonging to Tehereek-e-Taliban (TTP) party were counteracted in a shootout by Crime Investigation Department (CID). These killings were claimed by CID police on Thursday morning. Yet, the names of these targeted people are not disclosed.
"The policemen, who busted a terrorist hideout in Mangho Pir area, following a promising lead, were met with heavy armed resistance", said Chaudhry Aslam, a senior CID official.
According to the sources, these militants were fully armed and fought with the police for long hours and used all their arms. Looking into this fierce and exhausting situation CID Police took the charge.
“The shots fired by the cops left the terrorists seriously wounded and they were immediately rushed to a hospital where they were pronounced dead", said Chaudhry Aslam, a senior CID official.
Further investigation stated that these people who belonged to TTP were wanted for many murder cases, extortion's and cops-killings.
After searching their hiding place, police captured a huge amount of firearms and a car full of explosives.
The hospital sources said that three of these people who were bought to the hospital were pronounced dead immediately after bringing them to the emergency. The cause of their death was excessive bleeding from the gun wounds they sustained.
