Target killing kills Seven in less then 24 Hours

KARACHI: In less than 24 hours, seven people have been killed in target firing on Saturday. Protest in Gulsha-e-Iqbal have been observed due to these target killings.

Seven people were mourn to death overnight on Saturday and five were reported injured due to firing in different part of the city.

The latest incident took place on Rashid Minhas Road. Some unknown men opened fire which killed two men. These two deceased were heading off for their home.

Another men was shot dead in Sohrab Goth.

After the incident which took place on Rashid Minhas Road gripped tension in the areas and surroundings of Nipa and Gulshan Chawrangi. All the main roads leading to Nipa and Gulshan Chawrangi were blocked down by protesters.

Earlier on Saturday night, three people were killed and five others sustained bullet wounds after unidentified gunmen opened fire on an ice cream shop near Maskan Chowrangi.

Police said eight people were injured in the firing. They were rushed to hospital where three were pronounced dead by the doctors.

The dead included two brothers, the sources added.

Panic gripped the area after the incident.
