Eid Milad-ul-Nabi to be celebrated on January 14
KARACHI: The Rabi-ul-Awwal Moon has been sighted by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. Eid-e-Milad-ul-nabi will be celebrated on 14 January (Tuesday).
The Central Ruat-e-Hilal Committee chaired by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman held meeting at the Meteorological Department in Karachi while zonal committees held their meeting in different cities to cite the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal on Thursday.
After citing the moon, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced that Rabi-ul-Awwal would be celebrated on Thursday 12 January by Muslims all over Pakistan. After this the meeting came was dispersed.
