RAWALPINDI: Police captured a weapon and some bullets from the custody of a US soldier at Islamabad's Benazir International Airport.

According to the police, the US soldier was about to fly through a foreign airline when the weapon was found from his custody.

The police said that they were investigating whether the weapon, which was recovered from his luggage, was legal.

Identity of the US citizen was yet to be known.
