Pakistan Ambassador-designate to Azerbaijan calls on President
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan ambassador-designate to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman called on President Mamnoon Hussain at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday and discussed matters pertaining to his new assignment.
The President felicitated the newly appointed ambassador and urged him to focus on further cementing Pakistan's bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
The President, on the occasion, said that government attached great importance to the development of trade and economic cooperation as an integral part of its foreign policy objectives.
He emphasized on robust pursuance of economic diplomacy by all diplomats to further cement economic footprints of Pakistan in the world markets.
The President expressed the hope that the newly appointed ambassador would work with full devotion for further strengthening Pakistan's trade and commercial ties with Azerbaijan.
The ambassador designate thanked the President for meeting and assured that he would earnestly work to augment Pakistan's bilateral relations with Azerbaijan with particular focus on enhancing trade, business and investment ties.
