Karachi stock exchange ends lower on Monday
KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Monday having 25417.63 shares with a negative change of 161.70 and volume of 113,994,640 shares.
High and Low were 25631.74 and 25340.04 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 195,487,140 shares with 360 total traded companies out of which 130 were up, 204 were down and 26 were unchanged.
Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 43,958,400 shares. It was followed by Electricity with a total traded volume of 31,567,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were Pakgen Power with a volume of 25,520,000 and price per share of 21.04 (0.13), Fauji Cement with a volume 12,626,000 of price per share of 14.70 (0.13), Dewan Cement with a volume 8,595,500 of price per share of 7.20 (0.20).
The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 2795.00 (91.47), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 524.21 (24.96) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 471.60 (22.45).
The top three decliners were Colgate Palmoliv with price per share of 1650.00 (-46.00), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8000.00 (-34.00) and Mithchells Fruit per share of 617.50 (-32.50).
