LAHORE: Punjab law minister, Rana Sanaullah on Monday said situation in hospitals is under control now and 2,000 new doctors will be appointed soon.

Talking to media, Rana said the degrees of protesting doctors would be cancelled on top of sending them to jail for the defying their duties.

He rejected the claim of harassment and any kind of torture to the protesters.

He thanked the army doctors for their rescue and support in the tough situation across the province.

Denying the striking doctors any leniency henceforth, he said that the Punjab government could just not let the hospitals fail to do what they were supposed to do.
