Ephedrine Case: ANF teams dispatched for arrest of Shahbuddin
ISLAMABAD: In another move towards the corruption cases, Anti-Narcotics force (ANF) issued an immediate arrest warrants of hopeful-new PM Makhdoom Shahbuddin and Ali Musa Gilani, son of Ex-PM Yousuf Raza Gilani in Ephedrine case, Aaj news reported on Thursday.
According to an update, teams have been dispatched for the arrest of PPP's candidate for PM Makhdoom Shahbuddin.
As it was reported, the ANF investigating the ephedrine chemical quota case in which Makhdoom shahbuddinn have found directly involved therefore the court ordered for the accused to be arrested and presented within a week.
According to our correspondent, ANF Judicial Magistrate Shafqatullah Khan on issued a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of both Makdoom and Ali Musa Gilani.
Earlier today, Makhdoom submitted his document in the National assembly as the candidate for premiership.
Talking to media outside the Makhdoom Shahbuddin said the warrants seems to be a trick of opposition. He thanked President Zardari, his party and all the coalition partners for their approval and trust on him.
Its to mention that, Makhdoom Shahabuddin during his tenure as Health Minister, issued drug quota to Danas Pharma whereby Ali Musa Gilani enjoyed the major benefit of the transaction.
