Anti-corruption court issues Malik Riaz’s arrest warrant

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Corruption Court of Rawalpindi on Thursday issued arrest warrant of Malik Riaz, the main character behind Arsalan Iftikhar case, his son Ali Riaz and and seven other accused.

According to the sources, the court has issued arrest warrants of seven people including Malik Riaz and his son Ali Ahmed Riaz in land corruption case filed in 2005.

The Judge anti corruption court Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan heard the case of illegal property transfer against Bharia town, the accused were not present during the heating upon which the court ordered to arrest and produce them on the next hearing of June 25.

The court issued warrants of the following people:

Malik Riaz, Ali Ahmed Riaz, son of Malik Riaz, Muhammad Ashfaq, Iqbal Husain Shah, Sheikh sajid ur Rehman, Milad Bibi, Iqbal.

A petition has also filed in this regard.
