Memo Commission to meet on Monday for finalizing report
ISLAMABAD: The judicial commission probing the memo issue would meet Monday (June 4) in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to finalize its report on the authenticity and purpose of the memo as directed by the Supreme Court, Raja Jawad Abbas Hassan, Secretary Commission told APP.
He said the commission head Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Qazi Faiz Isa and its member Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Musheer Alam would reach here to meet on Monday.
During the stay, the three-member commission would finalize its report in the light of proceedings which continued more than four months.
The Supreme Court on May 12, had awarded the commission another four-week extension till June 10 for preparation of memo report and commission have to file report to the apex court within the granted period.
The apex court on December 30, 2011, had constituted a commission comprising three chief justices of high courts, District and Sessions Judge Islamabad as its secretary to probe the memo case.
