Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief, Imran Khan, has said that President Zardari shouldn't have participated in the NATO summit.

His visit has only brought Pakistan shame and disgrace, he added.

He was congratulating (Retd) Gen Ali Kuli Khan and his brother Ahmed Kuli Khan on their decision to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), in Islamabad, on Tuesday.

Speaking to the press conference he said, that NATO chief and American President's attitude towards the president of a country which has lost more than 40,000 of its men in their war on terror was shameful. He said that there was no outcome of President Asif Ali Zardari visit to the NATO summit, as he did not meet the American president Barack Obama or the Afghan President and NATO is still adamant of not accepting Pakistan's parliamentary resolution.

"The president has ridiculed the nation by going to Chicago and attending the NATO Summit", he said.

He claimed that his party remained excluded from the joint session of parliament, which was addressed by the Turkish Prime Minister after his arrival to Pakistan.

Imran Khan spoke of the Turkish Prime Minister with highest regard, saying that, "he is respected all around the world more than any other Muslim leader."

Khan also re-affirmed that an unstoppable tsunami will manifest, if Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's appeal is rejected and the government fails to implement court orders.
