The search for soldiers buried under the glaciers of Siachen's Giari Sector, has entered day 41, today.

In the past few days, the search operation was brought to a halt at six camps,  because of weather complications in Giari Sector. However, the search teams have started digging and drilling operations again.

Because of the massive inflow of water melting from the glacier, a spill way has been created making it impossible for rescue teams to reach the end of the glacier. A radical decrease in temperatures has resulted in intense cold making survival even harder in the snow-filled region.

According to officials, a sleeping bag was found in the water coming from above the glacier.

The Giari search and rescue efforts have been going on for 40 days, soldiers are still adamant on searching and rescuing their brothers.
