ISLAMABAD: During the hearing of Supreme Court's case regarding Members of Parliament who possess dual nationalities, the Supreme Court issued notices to Interior Minister, Rehman Malik and Farah Naaz Isphani, on Tuesday. Aaj News reported.

The three-member bench hearing the case, was headed by the Cheif Justice himself.

During the hearing, MNA Iftikhar Nazeer challenged the allegations of him holding dual nationalities while MNA Chaudhry Zahid Iqbal's lawyer requested court for an extended deadline  regarding the case.

Deputy Attorney General confirmed  Interior Minister Rehman Malik's reply to the court and seeked permission to present it to the court, to which, the court barred the Deputy from representing the Interior Minister in this case.

The court later re-issued notices to Rehman Malik and Farah Naaz and adjourned the hearing till May 10.
