According to SSP Khurram Waris, a man named Mohammed Ibrahim was arrested by the police in the murder case of MQM committee member Mansoor Mukhtar and his brother Masood Mukhtar, in PIB colony, Karachi. Aaj News reported.

Mansoor and his brother were killed while his brother's wife was severely injured by the alleged murderer and his accomplices when they barged into the victim's home, in PIB colony.

The accused, Mohammad Ibrahim a.k.a 'Qari', was arrested from Akhtar Colony in a raid conducted by the police, SSP Khurram Waris said.

The suspect Mohammed Ibrahim is also said to be involved in the murder of three policemen also in PIB Colony.

According to SSP Waris, the suspect is an alleged member of a Lyari based gang, run and operated by Lyari's infamous gangster Ahmed Ali Magsi, who is also affiliated with the notorious, Peoples Aman Committee.

According to Aaj News correspondent, Nasir Butt, Police is still trying to find the alleged gangster's accomplices by conducting search raids in different parts of the city.
