B’stan unrest case: SC warns AG to present missing persons within two days
QUETTA: The Supreme Court Quetta registry here on Monday warned IG to produce the remaining missing persons with in two days, Aaj news reported.
The case of Missing persons of Balochistan was resumed in Supreme Court under the head of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and his three members’ bench.
Four missing persons recovered from Killi Ismail area of Quetta were presented before the Quetta registry of the Supreme Court on Monday, the apex court ordered that the three men abducted from the Shal Kot area, on the outskirts of Quetta, should be presented on Wednesday.
The provincial Secretary Interior presented the report on Law and order situation in the court.
Chief justice ordered to present the remaining three missing persons with in next two days.
Attorney general informs the court that the kidnapping and torturing cases are no more reported in Balochistan.
The hearing is adjourned till May 2.
Earlier, The bench took serious notice of increasing number of missing persons, incidence of kidnapping for ransom, street and other heinous crimes across the province and directed the quarters concerned for taking concrete measures for restoring peace across the province.
