Attock railway station scrapes through a blast
ATTOCK: Bomb disposal squad diffused a 20kg explosive material at the Attock railway station, saving lives of hundreds of people on Wednesday.
According to the details, The bomb was found inside Awami Express which was travelling from Karachi to Peshawar and had passed through Lahore.
During the routine checking of the train at attock station police found a suspicious bag inside a wagon, which was identified as a home made bomb of about 15-20 kg.
Later the bomb disposal squad diffused the bomb and train was loaded with passengers.
The scare came hours after three people were killed and at least 65 others were injured when a bomb blast tore through the Lahore Railway Station.
