The Sindh Minister for Technical Education and a senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Abdus Salam Thahim passed away at a local hospital on Sunday morning.

This was stated by Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister and Information Secretary of PPP Sindh, Syed Waqay Medhi.

He said late Salam Thahim was ill for quite some time and was suffering from kidney ailment.

He said the deceased was PPP Mmember Provincial Assembly (MPA) from District Sanghar. He will be laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard this evening.

Waqar said late Salam Theihm had rendered a great deal of services for the cause of democracy which would be remembered for long.
