Two killed in Quetta firing
QUETTA: Two persons of Hazara community were gunned down here near Fatima Jinaah T.B Sanatorium on Brewery Road on Saturday.
Police said unidentified armed assailants opened fire at Baban Ali and Hussain Ali who were on way to bazaar on a motorbike from their home in Hazara Town.
As a result, Baban Ali was died on the spot while Hussain Ali was shifted to Combined Military Hospital. Later, he was succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The militants were also riding a motorbike and managed to escape after committing the crime
Meanwhile, the aggrieved family members staged a protest demonstration and blocked Brewery Road for traffic against this gruesome act of terrorism.
Besides, Balochistan Frontier Corps apprehended two suspects for their alleged involvement in target killing of members of Hazara community.
FC sources said the suspects had been identified as Gohram Khan Bugti and Mian Khan Mengal. The FC also recovered a shotgun from their possession. The suspects were handed over to Brewery police station for interrogation.
